Changes at AAA Law: a new managing partner and a new partner on board

This November we have implemented changes to strengthen our legal practise. Giedrė Domkutė, a long-term head of the legal team of the firm is appointed as a managing partner. The legal team is joined by the new partner Jonas Sakalauskas who has formerly practised customs and dispute resolution at the one of the largest Baltic law firms.

Development of legal practise

„These steps are implemented as a natural result of our recent development. 25 years ago we have been one of the first which have launched intellectual property and legal services in Baltics. We have become well established providers of patent and trademarks services. Focusing towards development of the legal practice we entrust the leading position of the firm to Giedrė Domkutė. The legal team is strengthened by the new partner Jonas Sakalauskas as well”, – states Marius Jakulis Jason, the founder of AAA Law.

According to him AAA Law appreciates the input of the former managing partner, European patent attorney Otilija Klimaitienė a lot. She will develop the practice of intellectual property further. „Thanks to Otilija we have consolidated a solid team of the best patent, trademarks and intellectual property professionals in the market. The well-known international brands are amongst our clients“, – says M. Jakulis Jason.

Synergy of the competencies

The development of legal practise is supported by arrival of the new partner with extensive experience. Jonas Sakalauskas is one of the few customs experts with well-rounded experience in export and import areas.

„While integrating my experience and firm expertise in transactions we are one of the few law firms in Lithuania capable of providing all-round services for companies acting in the international trading business. Our services include commodity supply and customs law issues, as well as resolving customs related disputes“, – shares J. Sakalauskas his insights.

The new AAA Law partner also specialises in dispute resolution. Clients appreciate Jonas for his critical thinking and ability to lead cases strategies according to the client’s business interests. Jonas has accumulated significant experience in representing clients in litigations of corporate law, real estate and construction, energy and environmental protection.
