Online seminar on protection of IP in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA)

On 15th February 2021 Pētersona patents – AAA law in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) will organise an online seminar titled : “General principles of IP protection: trademarks, designs and patents”. The seminar will be held via ZOOM and is free of charge.

During the seminar the trademark attorney Gunta Zariņa and the patent attorney Artis Kromanis will look at the following topics:

  • protection and scope of IP
  • advantages of IP registration
  • principle of territoriality and steps to be taken in pre-registration and post-registration stage
  • financial support for SMEs in cooperation with EUIPO
