Junior associate Toms Lintiņš participates in the IP case-law conference organized by the EUIPO
On 7-8 May, 2018 in Alicante, Spain, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) held its second IP Case Law Conference. At the event patent and law office Petersona Patents was represented by junior associate Toms Lintiņš.
During the conference discussions were held on a variety of subjects, amongst which topics such as interplay between trade marks, designs and copyrights; conflicts between unregistered signs, domain names and trade marks and, for the first time in its own session, case law concerning proceedings before the General Court and Court of Justice were debated.
